About the Church

The New Philippian Baptist Church was founded on, December 1980 at 2927 Washington Street. Apt. 13, Camden, N.J. Our Founder was an ordained Elder-Pastor of the African Union Methodist Protestant Church.

At present, we continue to feed the poor and with the flourishing of the new added space, we have been afforded the opportunity to expand and re-established Joy Night to house and accommodate a greater number of churches and participants. Also bonding with other churches by participating in Many Churches In One Location, Women's Retreat. We continue to reach out through our impressive and informative Website, equipped with a prepared sermon any hour of the day or night, as well as periodic canvassing the area to make all our ministries available to the community.

Aaron C. Lee, Sr.
Rev. Aaron C. Lee, Sr., is the Pastor of The New Philippian Baptist Church. With a fervent desire to meet the needs of God's people Pastor Lee provides practical biblical teaching and preaching for everyday life. Pastor Lee, born a native of Camden, NJ to the late Mr. & Mrs. James and Ruth Lee their 4th born of seven. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Randy Inez Lee. They have three sons, Aaron Jr., Joseph and Sean, and five grandchildren, Aaron III, Kayla, Marcus, Joseph Jr. and Akira.

Pastor Lee is a born again Christian, who loves the Lord. He is a great Teacher/Preacher with a vision and a heart to follow the great commission of the church found in Matthew 28:18- 19. He received his biblical studies at Philadelphia Biblical University. Ordained by Bethany Baptist Association of South Jersey, he has served as the Pastor of New Philippian Baptist in Glassboro, New Jersey for the past 15 years. Rev. Lee is past president of the Baptist Minister's Conference of Woodbury and Vicinity, and now serves as 1st vice moderator for Bethany Baptist Association.
