About the Church

Atlanta Bible Baptist is an independent Baptist church that was founded in 1964 by Dr. and Mrs. John McNeal Jr. Church services were originally held in the chapel of the Carver Bible Institute and College, before moving to Glenwood Ave. in 1972 and to the present location in 1986. The church has always had a burden for winning souls and is an ardent supporter of home and foreign missions. Atlanta Bible Baptist is a member of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association and the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

Sunday's Morning Services: 11:00 AM
Bible Study: 5:30 p.m.
Evening Worship: 6:30 p.m.
Prayer Meeting: Wednesday 7:30 p.m.

 
About the Pastor
John McNeal, Jr.

John McNeal, Jr.
Dr. John McNeal Jr. is the founding and Senior Pastor of Atlanta Bible Baptist Church. He has an undergraduate degree from Fort Valley State Teacher's College and graduate degrees from Grace Theological Seminary and Georgia State University. For twenty years, he served as Dean of Students and professor at Carver Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia. He presently serves on the boards of Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Evangelical Baptist Missions and Baptist Church Planters. Dr. McNeal served four years in the United States Air Force. He and his wife Earlene, have two grown daughters, one son-in-law, a grand-daughter and grand-son.
